5. Write a comment if a part of a body has non-standard measurements, e.g. wider arm, longer arms, etc.
TIPS FOR MEASURING
It is important to stand straight and be relaxed. Do not tighten the measuring tape when measuring separate body parts — the numbers will be more accurate. If your measurements are in-between two sizes, choose a smaller size for close-fitting, and a bigger — for looser-fitting. After choosing your size according to your measurements, choose your height.
- Neck — you should take the measurement at the bottom of your neck. The measuring tape should not be tighten. It should sit comfortably by your neck.
- Chest — you should take the measurement where your chest is at its widest. You should measure around your entire body. Arms should be kept down at sides.
- Waist — you should measure your waist where it is at its narrowest. Normally it is 2,5 cm higher than the belt place. When measuring waist, relax the measuring tape a bit, so that a piece of clothing would be comfortable to wear and you could breathe normally.
- Hips — you should take the measurement where they are the widest. Normally it is 17,5 cm lower than your waist line.
